There are detailed lists available for just about every country and it’s submarines and sub commanders listing their ships and tonnage sunk . I can’t seem to find a list for the British .
Dos anyone have one? Is there a book I can purchase?

Hi

For a good overall book about British subs in WW2 then try Alastair Mars British Submarines at War 1939-45

In terms of the British aces then the list will include David Wanklyn who sank 16 ships, Linton who sank some 30 ships,

Late to this thread. I understand Ben Bryant is considered the highest scorer in terms of all vessels sunk. He recounts sinking many a small coaster in his Submarine Commander book. I think it is Wanklyn for tonnage.

As in the USN where there is a top scorer for tonnage and another for total vessels sunk.
