British Ministry of Information Question

Post by bytwerk » 22 Dec 2020 15:04

I recently added this page to my German Propaganda Archive:

https://research.calvin.edu/german-prop ... goeb88.htm

The article appeared in April 1941. Goebbels mentions an MoI campaign with the theme "How not to do it.” I can’t precisely identify that campaign. Propaganda scholar David Welch tells me the best he can suggest is a campaign that began in June 1941 with the theme “mend and make do.” One of its themes was “How not to go about it,” which is close to the German “Wie man es nicht machen soll.”

Can anyone provide insight into the matter?
