Does anyone know where Australia and New Zealand got their oil during World War 2?

USA and the Persian Gulf. Balance changed during the course of the war from the latter to the former. Pre Dec 1941 much was coming from the DEI.

For Australia,

Search for Australian War Memorial and look for the Official Histories which are all on-line. There are a couple of volumes about the civil economy one for before Dec 41 and one for after. There is definitely information in them about petroleum supply, etc, but you’d have to search about to see whether the exact information you need is in there.

Good hunting!
