Hi,

I am looking to fill in some gaps in my bio information for Lieutenant-General Robert Daly Ormsby of the Royal Marine Light Infantry. Can anyone provide the exact dates of birth and death, his flag officer promotion dates, and his commands between 1926 - 1936? Here is what I currently have:

Lieutenant-General Robert Daly Ormsby (1879 - 1946)
1921 - 1926: Deputy Assistant Adjutant-General, Royal Marine Headquarters
?: Promoted to Major-General, Royal Marine Light Infantry
1932 - 1933: Aide-de-Camp to the King
1 Sep 1935: Promoted to Lieutenant-General, Royal Marine Light Infantry
Aug 1936: Retired

Thanks,

AJK
