Please could someone provide the commands held by Admiral Cecil Minet Staveley between 1925 and 1929 (when he retired as a Vice-Admiral)?

Thanks,

AJK

Hi AJK,

He commanded the 1st Battle Squadron in the Mediterranean from 7th Sep. 1925 until 1st Oct. 1926, after which he didn't held any appointments at least not according to the Navy List (Jan. 1927, Jan. 1928 & Feb. 1929) and personnel file. He attended the Senior Officers' Technical Course part 1 & 2 and the War Course in 1928.

Apparently, an adverse report by his superior did not affect his career in a Navy, where promotion was base only on seniority.
