British Mine Field Clearance At El Alamein

Post by Richard Stone » 23 Feb 2023 20:44

The first article discusses the method the British sappers and engineers used to clear paths through the German mine fields at El Alamein. It was printed in the August 1943 edition of the USA professional military reference magazine ‘Military Review’.

The second article discusses the British methods for handling German anti-tank mines during the North African campaign. It was printed in the October 1943 edition of the USA professional military reference magazine ‘Military Review’.

I posted this article in the site’ section 'WW2 in Africa & the Mediterranean’. I’ve reposted it here to aid researchers of the British Army's sappers and engineer forces.
