British Army Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers (REME) - Activities In North African Campaign 1941 - 1943

Post by Richard Stone » 09 Mar 2023 18:32

The three attached articles discuss the extensive activities of the British Army’s Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers (REME) units during the North African campaign.

These articles were printed in the 1943 October, August and June issues of the USA professional military reference magazine ‘Military Review’. The original articles were published in the British Army magazine ’The Army Quarterly’ and as a press release in the Times of London newspaper.

I will place the third article in a following post.
