winston churchill

Post by Balrog » 19 Oct 2003 17:03

i was watching a program on winston churchill during world war 2. at different times during the war he appeared in military uniform. on one occasion, he wore the RAF uniform with lots of ribbons(decorations), and at the yalta conference he appeared wearing a fur hat and a wool great coat with some sort of officer rank on the shoulders.

what rank was churchill wearing? what decorations did he receive? was the rank he wore in ww2 honorary? or was he just wearing the rank he had left over from his military career?
