What sub is this?

i was browsing through the royal navy site and came across this picture of a british sub, can anyone tell me anything about it as it looks a bit weird.

You are correct. It's a T- class sub, which was lost in the med on the 11 August 1942. No survivors.

I'll say!!

The uppermost torpedo tubes were outside the pressure hull and could not be re-loaded while underway. The same went for the 2 amidship tubes. Some of these class had as many as eleven 21 inch Torpedo tubes!!! 8O
