Do you believe Churchill had advance knowledge of plans to target Coventry?

I am inclined to the view that he did not know but I would not be suprised if an Ultra de-code had given notice of the bombing. The British could not make a slip and let the Germans know that their Enigma code had been broken as the future consequences would have outweighed the good done.

I tend to share your view. He would have done something...some kind of secret evacuation of people, artefacts, etc...and Germany didn't neccessarily have to find out.
