Honestly I have no idea where the gun was placed... But by seeing the gun pit it must have left traces... or was it destroyed due to urban development? Don't know.
I read somewhere in a forum the germans called the captured guns " 23.4 cm H 545 (b)" for the BL 9.2 inch Howitzer MkII and "15.2 cm sFH 410 (b)" for the BL 6 inch MkI.

Still from cegesoma:There you see the caliber of the shell, must be the BL 6 inch

The following must be the BL 9.2 inch howitzer (railroad gun), also located near the coast (still from cegesoma):

The building looks like a typical rural building of the Soviet Union, but that's not conclusive. Given that the Wehrmacht was armed with all kinds of captured equipment in 1941 that was lost or used up in the succeeding months, the presumption is not too wild though.

Gents

Having just returned from Brussels i had the opportunity to go to the Military museum there and took many pictures. Ive uploaded the first 100 (photbucket limit) and hope to do the rest soon. The pics need some level adjustments to look their best. Not all Belgian equipment but there is plenty of Belgian kit on display

Cheers
