The official AHF Allied & Neutral Armies quiz thread
Re: The official AHF Allied & Neutral Armies quiz thread
With "Air Force" Quiz in ruins, I guess it's no oddity that Clostermann is starring in "Army" quiz.
Re: The official AHF Allied & Neutral Armies quiz thread
You are right!
So this is something obviouvsly from an allied Army to identify (something which never - intentionally - flew and which cannot be mistaken with an aircraft of some sort!)

It is an armoured car Armored Carrier ACV-IP (India Pattern) MK II.
Pic may come from : http://www.warwheels.net/IndiaPatternCarrier2HAUGH.html
I wonder weither the armour plate means a MK II a, MK II b or is a field improvement.
And I wonder what unit it belongs to: The locust looking insignia is new to me.

NB: this one is a civilian, of course. But a limited number of his brothers has been impressed fo military service in an European Army at the begining of WW II.

No, sorry: not Swedish.
Sweden remained neutral during WW II. This bulky thing is from a country which was initially Neutral, but became an Allied in 1940.

Not an easy question at all.
To keep something going here, may I guess it is Belgian, possibly a Brossel.
