Question German casualties inflicted by the Belgians 1940

I have a question concerning German casualties in 1940. I was wondering how many Germans were killed, wounded or captured by the Belgian armed forces. Most accounts give a total number for the entire German army during the campaign but that is not what I am looking for. The German 6th army fought the Belgians and I think they were reinforced by the 18th after the Dutch surrender. Numbers for these units would be interesting. Does anyone have this info or do you know where to look?

Hello,
It seems to me that the final totals are very high and I think that they are not only been inflicted by the Belgian Army but also by the British and the French troops.
Regards
Prosper :)

Bedankt Prosper

Yes, I think so too. It's probably the number of casualties inflicted by all Belgian, British and French troops who fought on Belgian territory. Nonetheless it allows us to make an educated guess about the number that fell by Belgian actions.

5367 Belgians + 3340 French + 3687 British KIA = 12394 allied soldiers Killed In Action
10252 Germans KIA +some missing soldiers who may have been dead after all
These are actually quite comparable numbers.

The numbers given are about casualties that occured on Belgian soil. The war over Holland site http://www.waroverholland.nl/index.php?page=balance gives these numbers for the Netherlands:
2,332 Dutch soldiers killed in action
8000 to 9000 WIA

About 216 French were killed in NL and 40 British

The Germans lost between 2,000 and 2,250 men KIA in The Netherlands. Again quite similar numbers.
