I wonder if this weapon saw some use in 1940, similar to the Belgian army using the Mortier de 76 Allemand?
The Dutch were really short on medium mortars and may have had only 400 81mm mortars in use in 1940, and had to keep in service ancient guns like the Stuk 6 Veld to substitute their lack of infantry support weapons.

A translation of the closing remark from the link posted by akrimpen:

" It was the intention of the Supreme Commander of the Land and Naval Forces to have manufactured 360 pieces grenade launchers and 150,000 associated projectiles. Shortly before the conclusion of the armistice on 11 November, the Minister of War decided to terminate the entire project on 29 October. This is the only surviving copy."

It seems doubtful that things progressed beyond the prototype stage before the program was cancelled.
