From time to time the Netherlands dispatched naval units to observe one "crisis" or another to Chinese treaty ports or British or French colonial possessions, (Singapore, Saigon, Haiphong, Canton(Guangzhou), Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tianjin etc, I am hopeful that some other person than myself, mulled this over and can share it. For instance, at the time of Singapore Mutiny in February 1915, one or more ships deployed east of Singapore, what ship or ships, February 16th through ?, In 1924, De Zeven Provicien in September ordered to Shanghai. Not unlikely in 1922 also to Shanghai. 1923 ship for humanitarian aid in earthquake in Japan, 1927 Sumatra to Shanghai. etc. Many thanks in advance, if there is a specialized book in Dutch will be glad to try tor obtain through interlibrary loan program. Possibly 1931 to Shanghai and 1937 also.
