Looks like the standard issue,
there is only one model to choose from.

Eldspruta m/41

Thanks for your answer and sorry for my late answer....I am not sure. It seems that the Swedes only had a flamethrower model during this period but the Eldspruta m/41 does not seem to have the small cylinder at the bottom of the right.... :?

Maybe there was some latitude to how the acetylene gas bottle could be affixed:

...or the one visible in the photo is a reserve acetylene bottle for the igniter.

OTOH where is the nitrogen bottle in the photo? In the armémuseum photo there is a medium size bottle on the side and different looking flame tube; In the manual pic a little bottle under the fuel tank. Maybe little bottle on the side was an intermediate model.

Yes, I have a faint remembrance that eldspruta m/41 had different bottles over time., but the designation remained the same,
mines in the second pic are m/39 (definitive).
I guess the first pic is m/40 -but that model did not survive the war, and I can't find a pic of it.

and as always if you ask for help why can't you tell us the source.
This is from Motala Verkstads museums webpage I assume?

cheers

Motala Industrimuseum also has this picture http://www.motala-industrimuseum.com/pi ... o-2203.jpg

It´s named "12 cm. granatkastare m/41", which it for sure isn´t, but looks more like a Russian model 38.

MV seems to have experimented with various trailer constructions for 120 mm model 41 mortars and have used the Russian model as starting point, see http://www.motala-industrimuseum.com/pi ... o-2201.jpg
