Belgian Lieutenant-Général A. G. BAYART

Post by AJK » 15 Oct 2020 03:54

I am looking for information about Lieutenant-Général A. G. BAYART, who was appointed commander of the Belgian Gendarmerie in 1925. In particular I am missing his first names, and dates of birth and death. Also, can it be confirmed that he was Chief of Staff of the Gendarmerie between 1922-1925?

Thanks,

AJK

Hi AJK,

His full name was Alexandre Gustave Bayart. He was born 8th Oct. 1896, and made Chef d'Etat Major du Corps de la Gendarmerie on 29th Jun. 1922.
