Re: Poland & Hungary vs. Czechoslovakia
Meanwhile in Slovakia in Oravsky Podzamok Polish delegation which came to negotiate areas which will be ceded to Poland from Slovak Orava, Kysuce and Spis was almost lynched by local population. At Kysuce and Spis Czechoslovak and Polish soldiers exchanged fired with KIA on both sides. Higher ranking KIA was probably Polish Major. His name skipped my mind.
BTW. Raul. Similar way Slovak population in Polish Spis as well as Poland occupied Spis (since fall 1938) welcomed Slovak soldiers in September 1939. Had pictures somewhere.

Wasn't that the battle of Čadca?
But only a few common soldiers were killed and many wounded.
It is quite believable what is written there it was an unnecessary conflict, and the Poles should be blamed for it.

Not everything went smooth. Funeral of Major Stefan Rago. KIA by Czechoslovak defenders against Polish occupation of Slovak territory in High Tatra region. At the end Czechoslovak army retreated by order of political leadership. Territory was again under Slovak administration in September 1939.

Battle of Cadca, or more off Cadca as it was fought in hills north of the town had indeed few death soldiers on both sides.wm wrote:Wasn't that the battle of Čadca?

On other side during battle in High Tatra region - close to village Zdiar had two Polish KIA, Major Stefan Rago and NCO Henryk Oleksowitz was wounded and later died.
