#1

Post by cuski » 21 Jan 2004, 20:06

I haven't been able to find any kind of references about this... Was there any kind of armour in the dutch army, tanks, afv? If so, what origin and model?

TIA

http://www.geocities.com/Pentagon/Barracks/1247/

From the above link, scroll down to Arnament Data and click, and again scroll down till you reach Armoured Vehicles

Many thanks, Andy!

I was going to ask if you knew where I could find some photos, but luckily I ran into this:

The names of the 5 carden-Loyd carriers are: Panter, Lynx, Jaguar, Poema and Luipaard.

Apart from the list on the previous mentioned website the Dutch army posessed one Renault FT-17 tank to test the "inundaties" e.g. purposely flooded land to stop tanks. :)

Also the KRA (Korps Rijdende Artillerie, comparable with the RHA) had 2 Erhardt armoured cars with a 3,7 cm gun.
