M42 Army Helmet
Very nice WWII M-42 Army combat helmet. No liner or band but has two of the rivets (one has a broken prong), most of its original paint. It has the soldier's name on it and has a maker stamp in the inside crown. It is too faint for me to make out precisely. 425.00. Sales in the USA only.

Put this in right way up as I've never seen a dome stamp of this type before.

I personally do not know the historical postmarks "Wehrmacht Beschaffungsamt", or even "Wehrmacht-Beschaffungsamt" as a reproduction, but (almost) anything is possible.
Google photo search: "wehrmacht beschaffungsamt"

Otherwise, contact one of the many experts about a german "Stahlhelm", before wasting lots of money...

Thanks for providing that resource re the acceptance stamp. It appears consistent with those placed on late war helmets, like this M-42. It is a cool feature. Haven't had many with the stamp. You can see it has been on the helmet for a very long time. Here is some additional information, from the War Relics Forum: https://www.warrelics.eu/forum/steel-he ... -710830-2/

I found this link very useful in showing the military types the stamps were often put on. https://www.warrelics.eu/forum/steel-he ... -710830-2/Mark in Cleveland, Tn. wrote: ↑18 Jul 2021, 05:11I've owned some era lids with various of these dome ink stampings under the liner.
