Bf109F Rudder - Hans Joachim Marseille (Replica)

The Ultimate War Prize - A Bf-109F rudder from one of the greatest aces of all time. Original items usually don't exist, or aren't for sale, so we have recreated a near identical rudder of one of Germany's top Aces, Hans Joachim Marseille. Handsome & youthful, Marseille was one of the most prolific killers in the Luftwaffe, having amassed 157 kills before his untimely death in a new but malfunctioning 109G, over Africa. His squadron-mates regularly deferred to him during air battles, allowing him to wade through bombers and fighters, blasting many from the sky. This full sized rudder replica is painted in the colors and markings of Marseille, the "Star of Africa". It is completely fabric covered item, just as the original was. Hand painted markings, just as was done by the squadron artist, in the field. No one else has this! Rudder stands 4.2 ft tall. For sale at $799
