Carl Zeiss rangefinder 0.7m

I got one of these WW2 era range finders. I wonder if you know more about this? It has a leather case with the illumination system.

And yes, I know it's finnish - but about the stamps on this. What you can tell about it?

What does the M stands for under the eagle? "Marine"?

What means "lattenabstand"?

I also have another one that has M under the eagle AND "IV/a" - what does that mean?
