Re: ► Photothread: German trailers
Ki Sturm,
No, it isn't workshop this time but radio van-trailer (or "wireless", if you prefer English ). R.T. = radio/telegrafica.
So you'd better forget that German "Mobile Werkstatt" in the file name.
Cheers!

Workshop was the ebay photocaption....
A last Ebay image of one of these Viberti trailers : in this case his purpose is clear: telephone exchange trailer (Telefonzentrale)

Hi Sturm and Max,
Thanks for the good pictures of the Italian "rimorchio". While on the production of this yet another famous Turin manufacturer, have one from me too:
The caption says: "Special Viberti trailer with extended wheelbase for boat transport (Royal Navy)".
BTW, probably it would be interesting for you to know that from the last year Viberti is Polish-owned.
Cheers!

Re: ► Photothread: German trailers
Hi 2 jack,
for me it is a modification of a German cart with the designation If. 9/1 (Gefechtskarren für schweren Granatwerfer), a conversion from a hors-drawn cart to a trailer by replacing the wooden wheels and the shaft. Here two pics of this vehicle (sources of the pics: first pic I forgot; second pic: http://www.kfzderwehrmacht.de0.
Regards
Bert
