Fall Gelb - Belgium 1940.
Around Denée, the French tanks attacked the German soldiers of the 8.ID. The German artillery reacted quickly with dozens of guns, including the famous 88 mm and howitzers of caliber 105 mm that opened fire a short distance from the French tanks. In the picture below a pair of French B1 bis from the 3./37e BCC destroyed after the violent action ...........................

Hello to all ; more.................................
Char B1 bis SENEGAL Nº 209 - 15th BCC 1st company.
Parts of the 2nd DCr were trying to regroup in the forest of Compiègne. On the 19th, between 8:15 and 9:15, three columns lead from the Crozat Canal, the first (Marching company) from Saint-Simon towards Origny, the 2nd from the bridge of Jussy towards Mézières-sur-Oise and Sissy, the 3rd from Mennesis to Vendeuil and Moy. The tanks of the first column quickly seized Saint-Simon and advanced towards Artemps. But, taken from behind, they fight a very bitter fight and succumb under the number.
The B1 bis SENEGAL was destroyed by an anti-tank weapon near Saint Simon on May 19, 1940. Tank leader: Lieutenant Léon-Dufour.

Disabled German tanks Pz Kw 35 (t) of the 1. Le Div.
Looking carefully, the first vehicle carries two antennas. The antenna located on the left side (of the tank) and aft of the turret is the folding type carried by the SdKfz 265 kleiner Panzerbefehlswagen I A kind of command tank perhaps?........

Re: ► Destroyed and battle damaged AFVs
Command tanks used a frame antenna in Poland/France so this is either a different modification or a testbed for new antenna.
