Hello to all :D; more.................................

The Char B1 bis GLORIEUX No. 236 (3. / 8. BCC-2 DCr).

On May 16, 1940, the 3rd Company of the 8. BCC was extended by more than 15 kilometers to defend the bridges of the Oise. On May 17, 1940, at dawn, the GLORIEUX, was located at Moy de l'Aisne, where it controlled a bridge over the canal, around 11 o'clock in the morning was attacked by airplanes and armored. Under the impacts the armor got red. Fuel tanks are on fire and munitions explode. The half-suffocated and deeply shocked crew tries to leave the combat vehicle, but is immediately trapped under automatic fire. Only the tank leader and the radio operator manage to escape, the other three members were killed instantly.

The tank leader was the Sous-lieutenant Monnier.
