Re: ► Soft Skinned Vehicles
An interesting mix:
Ford V8-51
Praga RV?
Chevrolet CC60?
another Ford V8-51
ex-British Ford?
maybe Phanomen Granit?
And it seems that none has a standard tarpaulin?

Re: ► Soft Skinned Vehicles
Hi Jose,
to Your question about the Opel fire engine. It had the designation KzS 8 (Kraftzugspritze = "power traction fire pump" for one driver and eight firefighters) and had a trailer with the designation TSA (Tragkraftspritzenanhänger = portable fire pump trailers). The superstructure were made by Magirus, Metz, Meyer-Hagen, Rosenbauer, Koebe). Here a pic of this vehicle out of the book "Feuerwehrfahrzeuge im Einsatz 1939 - 1945" by Michael Foedrowitz.
Regards
Bert

Re: ► Soft Skinned Vehicles
Not a traditional "soft skin" but semi-armored- A nice view of one of the few Sd. Kfz. 7 mit gepanzertem Aufbau.
In typically accurate ebay fashion this pic was advertised as a "rare Sd. Kfz. 250 prototype".
