Nice pics Tad, especially the first which has the rarer later layout of the turret, with the MG on the left.

Hi Tad

Great pic once again, fantastic detail. My chassis is supposed to arrive this month (I've been told that twice before though), so the build should begin soon. If anyone has anymore pictures with close up detail I would appreciate it if you posted them.

Cheers

Yet again another delivery date has been missed, so no chassis yet.

Hi Tad,

Great shots thanks for finding and posting them. I’d just like to point out the shot showing the rear doors open is of course the (gutted) rear drivers position not the engine bay which was up the front end. The long bar is the rear drivers steering wheel.

Jon.

The SS Kaserne in Ellwangen had one in 1940 and it was used to train recruits at the Truppenübungsplatz Wünsingen before they were send to the division in Metz. A veteran - who was with 5. E LSSAH that summer - recently wrote to me:
He is referring to this photo (Archiv J. Bonke)...

I've been researching these vehicles for some years as I'm hoping to start building a replica vehicle, the donor chassis should be arriving next month!
Here’s a inspiration picture ???

It’s a nice 231 replica shown at Bahna 2006
Came across this picture on http://www.militaryfoto.sk/

You mist this picture on e-bay guy's.

A sd.kfz 263 (panzerfunkwagen) besides the normal Rhamenantenne there was a extensible one that was hand driven.
The turred was welded on the undercarriage, and coulden't be move.
