Very interesting historical footnote, Joseph.
Virtually all of the Polish vehicle photos I have seem to be left hand drive.
I suppose it is the same as in Sweden up to 1967 (8?) where they drove on the left but except for the busses and a few other vehicles most all vehicles were left hand drive.
Thank you for that.
Bill

Important to know: Czechoslovakia was democratic since its creation, was communist in 1948 to 89.

Ironic sign change. With new leaders, places and names is changed. Here in particular, a Czech policeman is forced to change the signs, where the street name in Brno changes dramatically:

Before March 15, 1939: Namesti Svobody (Freedom avenue)
After March 15, 1939: Adolf Hitler Platz (Adolf Hitler place)

Dnjepr Ubergang ??? Confused Please ,traslation is possible..thanks Smile

From ebay....
Dnjepr Übergang = Dnjepr (the river) crossover,
so the sign is most probably referring to a bridge or something similar. :)

best regards

welcome to the jungle.....

I see a soldier in front of the signs: Where's the sign of my unit!
