No, but it's interesting to know that mopeds are that old.

Lol. I always find interesting that people enjoyed the same motoring pleasures in the 30s-40s as we take for granted now.

" Looking for trouble "- is just a figure of speech , but a very lazy way to describe this photo. They appear to be at the ready — on patrol or moving up to the front, not so sure. Note the soviet sub-machine gun on the figure in the forward Kubel.

i knew that was a figure of speech. i just didnt see how they were going to be in danger or 'looking for trouble'. ive never seen a vehicle like that in service with germany. looks a bit like a quadbike except much bigger

I'll not comment on the vehicle, but by the pose and attitude it looks like they are ready and wary.It may be posed because of the photographers position,or they may just be moving through past him.But they are in a ready position, not just seated but riding 'on',not 'in' the vehicles, ready to dismount quickly.Behind the front driver,it looks like an MG34 ready for use. ---bil

A Sd,kfz 10/4 advances across a river. Although their weapons are at hand, none of the crew are wearing their helmets , also these lads seem to be enjoying the ride suggest that this is not a "hot" combat zone.- in Russia, this could change very quickly. ebay.
