German horse-drawn wagons - and camels
Camels now? Presumably on the Eastern front. Anyone any more pictures or information on German troops using camels? I'd be fascinated to see it!

Re: German horse-drawn wagons
Hi Phil:
Nice to see you post here again.
Definitely Russian two humpers but like all of the other photos I have seen (only copied maybe 3-4), these seem to be along for the ride. No provisions on their backs and no traces to wagons or carts.
Maybe they are like cows in India, Sacred
Edit: Okay, found two I saved. One as a pet and the other as a zugmaskin for a small trailer
Bill

Re: German horse-drawn wagons
Thanks Bill
For the pictures and the kind words. I've been around reading and watching, but my father died in March so been a busy time. And my son (17) got his exam results today too. He did OK. Also I'm an armour man and all this horse and cart and soft skin stuff on here leaves me bemused - though it is equally as valid and some interesting stuff (like the camels) for even those of us that don't know a Renault from a Gaz AA! Hope all here are well.

Re: German horse-drawn wagons
I am cheating a bit here as it is not exactly a horse drawn wagon but I thought the group might find it amusing.
A coal cart.
