Hi Sturm 78,

that´s not a decontamination wagon, but a mobile drinking water heater (fahrbarer Trinkwasserbereiter), introduced 1910. Here a pic of such a wagon (source: "Bespannte Fahrzeuge des deutschen Heeres bis 1945" by Wolfgang Fleischer.

Best regards

Bert

Hi Sturm 78,

I think that it is a Nf.2 , because it is an artillery unit. Artillery units didn´t have Nf. 7.

Best regards

Hi Sturm 78,

that is a captured French wagon with the designation "fourgon omnibus modèle 1887". In the Wehrmacht this wagon got the designation "schwerer Feldwagen M. 87 (f)". It was the typical horse-drawn wagon of the French army in WWI and WW II. AFAIK there were an old model, a modified model and a new model. But I cannot tell You the differences. Source of the pic; ""L'automobile sous l'uniforme" by Francois Vauvillier.

Best regards

Bert
