Maintenance and recovery of combat vehicles.

The shop foreman decided the order in which the repairs were to be made and by whom. He also decided in which maintenance and repair jobs the tank crew members could assist. Usually, these consisted in servicing the tank or replacing damaged bogie wheels..................

Disabled tanks are repaired in Bertrix - May 12, 1940.

The French Campaign in May and June 1940 had very few maintenance problems. The small shortcomings in the organization, which emerged during the campaign on Polish soil in 1939, were solved and the effective force of the maintenance organizations was increased .................
