Hi Schlange
Well, it is difficult to ensure but I would say that this is a newly abandoned Soviet type OB-3 train...not yet put into service by the Germans

Hi Sturm 78,
I´m no expert in armoured trains, but the train on Your pic is a German train, because the first and the second waggon from the left are German railroad waggons model Erfurt and Linz. The last was used for the transport of a captured Russian tank. Here pics of these models.
Best regards
Bert

Re: ► Photothread: German armoured trains
Thanks for your help, Bert
The BT-7 tank seems to have an AA machinegun on the turret....
The next wagon (the third) seems to have another BT-7 turret mounted on it.

Re: ► Photothread: German armoured trains
Hi Sturm
It is very likely that there are actual BT-7 tank hulls in the train cars. Unserviceable or non running tanks were often used in this way.

Re: ► Photothread: German armoured trains
nice pictures, any chance that there are pictures of the Panzerzug 10(a) and Panzerzug (s.Sp.) 204 ? First one was a captured polish train. My grandfather served on both and thats why i am interested in those two trains in particular.
