Re: ► Photothread: German trailers
Hi Sturm 78,
thank You very much for posting this (for me very) interesting pic. I assume, that the pontoons are of Austrian origin (bridge building material M 36) and so the trailer could be made by an Austrian company. First a pic with such pontoons I think. Then another pic with special trailers (maybe the pontoon trailers) near a bridge made with Austrian material Kriegsbrücke M 36. And at least a pic of another Austrian trailer out of the book "Kraftfahrzeuge und Panzer des österreichischen Heeres 1896 bis heute" by Walter J. Spielberger: name of the company: Rohrbacher.
Best regards
Bert

Hi Max,
In your file name the fuel drum capacity is stated 300 l Even with those 4 jerrycans behind the turret the extra fuel carried couldn't exceed 280 liters
Thanks for the good picture anyway!
BTW, was ist das on the 3rd road wheel? Could it be a DIY footstep ring?
Cheers!

Hi ilfil,
Thanks for correcting that typo . It's obviously a standard size 200 Liter (55 US gallon) drum as I stated in the text.
