Re: Bus/Omnibuss Photos
Hi Markus,
to the bus You posted yesterday. Could it be a Diamond T, the US chassis maybe exported to the Netherlands?
Regards
Bert

Re: Bus/Omnibuss Photos
Hello, good morning
I have a question in 2 foren, vehicle ID and buses
I found following offer in mobile.de, it shows a Borgward B3000 with a bus body from Estonia or Latavia.
the bus body looks for me similar the MAN buses only a little bit shorter.
Or is this a "Komposition" in the pure post-war times?
Does any body know more details or information about this kombination?
best regards
Henning

As a layman I tend to agree with you since the bus front looks very much like this Diamond T lorry on Holger's http://www.kfzderwehrmacht.de/Homepage_ ... 36-37.html page. Maybe Holger or a Bill will fill in the expert details?

Re: Bus/Omnibuss Photos
Hi all, hi Bill,
it´s really a pity, that my scanner doesn´t work no more. So I cannot post pics I want to.
Back to Your list, Bill: some questions, thoughts and trials to ID the busses:
number 2 of Your list: could it be a French Matford 1937 ?
number 6: Mercedes Benz type OP 3750 of the year 1939 (source: Oswald: Mercedes Benz Lastwagen und Omnibusse)
number 8: Mercedes Benz type O 3750 ?
number 16: Magirus O 145
number 18: VOMAG type 5 OM 658 ?
number 21: Renault, maybe type YFDB ?
number 23: Büssing-NAG 350 - O (source: Volkhard Stern: Der Autobahn-Schnellverkehr der Deutscehn Reichsbahn)
number 24: for me the grille looks like the spider, the modern sign of Büssing-NAG; maybe it could be the type 500 T ?
number 27: Mercedes Benz type O 2600
number 28: Mercedes-Benz L 5000 or LZ 8000, body-work by Kassbohrer ?
number 29: Mercedes Benz type O 3750
number 31 and last pic of Your list: Opel "Blitz", body-work by Ludewig.
It would be very interesting for me to get some replies. Thanks in advamce.
