An interesting Blitz doubledecker semi. I can't vouch for the caption but this photo and others are also seen at http://www.pietvanhees.nl/blitzbus/

Hi Max,
that could be the type M 37. Sorry, I have no pic of this bus type, but a version of the fire brigade (source of the pic: http://www.brandweerleeuwarden.nl/feuer ... rus-m-37-s).
Best regards

Interesting photo of a conscripted Blitz Ludwig Aero with radiator cover and lacking headlamp fairings.

Re: ► Photothread: Bus/Omnibuss
An interesting pic of Marines from the Light Cruiser Emden aboard Diamond T doubledeckers in Haiti, a port call on their around-the-world cruise of 1935-36.
Edit:
I notice that the writing on the buses are in Spanish while the national language of Haiti is French. Perhaps this pic was actually taken in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic or the buses originated there, who knows?

Hi Max,
that could be the type MP on the chassis of the truck type M 1 with an engine 120 hp I think, built from 1938 - 1941.
Best regards
Bert
