Is it the tarpalin support rails? They seem to be stowed in this position when the cargo area is left open.

Hi Bill,all
I think your first pic looks like a Hansa-Lloyd 1,25t "Columbus" and the last two are Borgward 3t Benzin GW.
Do you agree with me?
best regards
Henning

Re: Bloody Hansa LLoyd/Borgwards
Hi,
in the book "Unter der glühenden Sonne Afrikas" by Alois Schlee I´ve found two pics of a Borgward 3-tonner with a body. I think a very rare vehicle in Northern Africa.
Regards
Bert

Re: Bloody Hansa LLoyd/Borgwards
Hello Sturm, hello all
I saw this pic once before, but I dont Know if it was in this forum???
Like my opinion its a Borgward 1,5t ( L2000 or L2300). Typical for this type is the "Einheitsfahrerhaus" with the single windscreen. We discus this fact a long time before, with a not clear pic.
By the way the "L1400" is a intern factory typ. outsite it was Borgward 1 Tonner, 1,5 Tonner,3 Tonner....
I hope it was a little help.
best regards
Henning
