thank You for the ID. Do You know, if it is the troops mark (the chamois) of the 1st group fighter wing 51 of the Luftwaffe? Here another vehicle with the same troops mark.

now I could find the real source of the pic of the field kitchen during "Rasputitsa":

with the following text to the pic:
"Eine Feldküche, von den Landsern wegen dem Ofenrohr zur "Gulaschkanone" umgetauft, versinkt beinahe im metertiefen Schlamm dieser Straße zum Wolchow."
"A field kitchen, renamed by the doughboys into "gun of goulash (slang) because of the stovepipe, is nearly sinking in the metre deep mood of this road to the Volchov" ( ariver between the lake of Ladoga and lake of Ilmen in Northern Russia.
The second pic is from the same album.
On the right side You can see many tree-trunks for building a corduroy road.
It could be the same road of the pic Carius posted 26th August 2011. There with motor vehicles.

Hi,

unbelievable! That´s a real "Rasputitsa"-road. A Steyr Raupenschlepper Ost with a 50 mm AT gun (source of the pic: http://www.tanks-encyclopedia.com/ww2/n ... ry-SPG.php).
