Thanks Burden
1. Make accurate measurements and set up in this forum.

2. No, in this area are no more parts.

3. They could have put that number in the 502 Battalion?
What does the letter V? Maybe this is number 5?
Which plant put a stamp after a number?

Sorry so many questions.

Each large part of a Tiger had a number.
The number was assigned by the manufacturer.
This may have been the 502nd cupola to be manufactured. But that cannot be linked to a specific Tiger, except approximately. If they made 500 cupolas, there must have been about 500 Tigers.
But this is a weak connection. The parts could be stockpiled and used in the wrong order.

Vitdiv;

Sorry, I don't have much time for Tiger stuff. I have only updated my drawing of the base ring according to your measurements;

I see that you built a 3D model. Do you want my DXF file? Your software can probably import it.

I am not sure of the width of red arrows. I measured them myself, but my numbers don't exactly agree with yours. Perhaps I was off-center.

Thank you.

These British reports are very helpful in that they explain how the Tiger works, without the assumptions that its owners would have.

But the dimensions are not precise, because they are not in the metric system.

For example, vitdiv measured 870mm as the cupola diameter. I can guarantee you that if we find the German factory diagram, 870mm will be written on it.
