Re: Vehicles Of the Waffen SS
Two more: I wonder what unit or year was this taken, because of low(?) number in the registrate number/plate, only three digits.

Probably Leibstandarte SS "Adolf Hitler", LSSAH had SS-500 to SS-2000 block assigned.Arto O wrote:Two more: I wonder what unit or year was this taken, because of low(?) number in the registrate number/plate, only three digits.

Re: Vehicles Of the Waffen SS
OK, few more:
• SS-55622 - "Totenkopf" division
• SS-1248 - Leibstandarte SS "Adolf Hitler"
• SS-84xx - "Der Führer" regiment of "Das Reich" division
• SS-84xxx - this block was not assigned or assignment is unknown, only SS-84000 plate is known as part of 83001-84000 block assigned to the 8. SS-Totenkopf Standarte; OTOH numbers from 81001-84000 and 85001-90000 ranges were assigned to SS-Totenkopf Standarten, its quite possible that 84001-85000 was left for SS-Totenkopf.

Re: Vehicles Of the Waffen SS
No problem
This photo is very interesting, I wonder if all those holes were from one shooter.

Re: Vehicles Of the Waffen SS
Could a MP or SMG bullet hits be so close each others?
Here a perfect example of SS "blitz krieg" vehicle. The photo could be in many topics "vehicles on rails" or "captured Russian vehicles on german service". It is Russian, I suppose.
