Hi George,
Great find! These are not cranes but Infantry Assault Bridges built by Magirus and based on the Panzer IV chassis. The one closest to the camera appears to be missing a couple of wheels. Two were extended side by side to act as support beams for a walkway.
Edit: The one in the background is a Magirus Brückenleger IV.

Thanks for posting that fine photo. It is an Infanterie Sturmsteg auf Fahrgestell Pzkpfw IV, an assault bridge on a Pz IV chassis extendable to 50m. Two normally operated side by side to form the support beams for a personnel bridge. They were built by Magirus in 1940.
