This Mercedes L 3000 looks like more the victim of a simple prang than battle damage, but at least he didn't knock over the loo!

Hi Raul:

I make this one a ca. 1938 Opel Olympia.

The ID features are:
Shape of the rear window.
Shape of the trunk/boot and arrangement of the hinges.
Placement of the neck for the petrol filler.
Arrangement of the spare wheel on the trunk/boot.
The style of the mount for the rear lamp. It is on the other side in my example but it looks the same.
The style of the rear bumper.
