This Zis-5 has the same camo style as the colour drawing posted by Stan on Page 2 of this thread of a Zis-5 in the 13th Panzer Div.

Strangely for winter this Zis-5 has no tilt. Is that a Bear insignia on the fender?

Zis-5 with an Arrow marking on the tailgate, which could be for the 32nd SS Panzer Grenadier Div '30 Januar'

Hi Larry,

thank You very much for posting so many interesting pics of the ZiS - 5 trucks. My user name "SIS 5" is deduced from ZiS 5, because in German there is no voiced "s" ("z").
Sorry, but I don´t agree with You according to the pic of the truck with no tilt You posted yesterday. I think it is an early Opel "Blitz" 1,5 tonner, produced from December 1930 to June 1931.

Regards

Bert

Thank you Bert

I see that the truck with no tilt and Bear insignia on the fender, has rear mudguards, so you are right it is not a Zis-5

This Zis-5 truck has obviously been in use with the German Army for a while as it has a Notek light. I'm not sure if it is a white helmet that has been painted on the door for GD Division?

Possibly just recently captured Zis-5, with flag on the hood and what looks like battle damage in the side of the engine.

Captured AA unit without much sign of Luftwaffe bomb damage, so perhaps they were overrun by ground forces
