on Holger´s site this crawler-tractor is a so-called LHB "Rübezahl" of the Linke-Hoffmann-Busch AG (LHB).

Sorry but i have no choice than to agree with Bert.
It is Hanomag, it is early production (bonnet sides), it is civilian model (front bumper), but is too small for SS100, Its civilian version, as you know, was marketed under the name "Gigant".
Here is one early civvy SS100 factory pic, to illustrate what I mean:
So for me too it is S55 on your picture.
