Was the shamrock a 1st Royal Fusiliers' sign or was it a German one?
65 must be the 1st Btn's number?

Thanks!Kantemirovka wrote:It's the formation sign of the 8th Indian Infantry Division.
The Marder III must have been a booty of 8th Division's 17th Indian Infantry Brigade:
- HQ
- 1st Battalion Royal Fusiliers
- 1/12th Frontier Force Regiment
- 1/5th Royal Gurkha Rifles
- 1st Battalion Jaipur Infantry, Indian States Forces (Nov 1944 to Apr 1945)
