Strange door window shape IMHO.

Hi all,
I need help to identify these Italian trucks. I would say a Lancia Ro in foreground and a FIAT 634 in the background. Is this correct ?

I think you're right, Sturm78.
The Fiat 634N1 in the rear even seems to have the round cab usually seen with the N2.

Now the window upper edge looks absolutely straight, at least to me. After all there was a subtle arc in this place.
Probably I'm not quite right so let the others tell their vision too, but I see on pictures something like this:
BTW, there are certain details on Sturm 78 picture suggesting a "classic" Fiat 634N1 with square cab behind the Lancia Ro.

Fiat SPA T 40 (4х4 2500 kg.) 1942
I had never seen an image of this truck. I guess a derivative of the SPA TM40 tractor....
Was this truck developed and used during World War II?

From http://www.italie1935-45.com/regio-eser ... /295-tm-40:
Some chassis were supplied to the Wehrmacht where it was given the Einheits cabin:The only derived version designed during the war, the T 40 was a 4x4 closed-cab truck with a 2.3x2.2m platform and a payload of 2500kg. Only the 2 front wheels were steering. Developed at the end of 1942, the T 40 was apparently intended primarily for Regia Aeronautica.
