Hi Max, hi uncle,

thank You very much for posting these very interesting pics with graffiti from the other side.
Here another pic with a German graffiti on an Opel Blitz truck:
"Panje Beck" - "Mister Beck" (Panje = Polish for mister)
"war schon weg. - "was already gone."
Józef Beck was the foreign minister of Poland 1932 - 1939.
On the roof: Deblin ( a Polish town between Warsaw and Lublin).

Regards

Bert

Hi,

here a new graffiti on a truck after the Polish campaign (source of the pic: an expired ebay auction).

"Mit Polen ist es aus," - "It´s over with Poland"
"wir fahren nach Haus" - "we drive home"
"Iwangrod - Deblin -Radomsko - Berlin" (towns in Poland)
"Mit K.D.F. durch Polen" - "With K.D.F. through Poland"
KDF means "Kraft durch Freude" - "Strength through joy", it was a large state-operated leisure organization in Nazi Germany.
I cannot decipher the last sentence.

Regards

Hi Bert,
I have a question about the tanker you posted on this page:viewtopic.php?f=132&t=229010&start=150. Is that a Kfz. 354?
Cheers,
Max

Hi Max,

that is a Kfz. 384 Flugbetriebsstoffkesselkraftwagen - aircraft fuel tank motor vehicle - with the chassis of the middle cross-country truck Mercedes-Benz type LG 3000.

Best regards

Bert
