Not exactly graffiti but slogan:

Image

"Help me and I'll help you!", is this correct translation of "Hilf mir, ich helfe Dir!", Bert?
Cheers!
"...and on the 8th day He made truck so that man, made on 7th day, had shelter when woman threw him out for the night."

Bert,
Now something very special for you. Typical "anti-camo", a kind of Wehrmacht "Power to the flower" style. I guess the poor Citroen 23 is white, clouds are blue, serpent is yellow and the hearts are red. Regretfully I'm helpless with the text on the tilt, it seems it starts with "Du..." Is it possible these are words from some popular German lullaby?

Fahrschule somewhere in France.

Hi ilfil,

sorry for my late answer. I have a lot to do now. Thank You very much for this interesting pic.
But I must disappoint You. I cannot decipher the text. Sorry, that´s impossible for me.

Best regards

Hi Bert,
It's okay, we're not in a hurry, do we? And the writing isn't critical, at least I don't think to model exactly this one in the near future.
Sorry all for my stupid mistake I didn't spot in time. I wrote "serpent" instead of "crescent." Apparently the wife was around.
Cheers!

Hi Bert,
We were just discussing Reichs-Autozug Deutschland in another thread. Well here's some graffiti on one of their vehicles. It's pretty much self explanatory.

Hi,

here a new graffiti on a Hanomag tractor:
sorry, I cannot decipher the first sentence the soldier is writing (the last word is "Heimat" - "homeland").

"Ob Osten oder Westen" - "Whether the East or the West"
"Eschwege ist´s am Besten" - "Eschwege (a town in Hessen rather in the middle of Germany near to Kassel) it´s best"

And a list of places in the West where this unit has been: Maastricht - Cambrai - Saint-Pol - Saint-Quentin - Lyon - Heimat (homeland).

Regards

Bert

A railroad loading table is a rare sight on trailers IMHO.

Hi ilfil,

thank You very much for posting this pic with an interesting graffiti:

"So mancher Wagen im Trichter saß," - "Quite a few vehicles were sticking in craters,"
"Wir halfen allen wieder auf die Straß´." - "We helped all coming back on the road."

Best regards

Bert
