Hi,

here another graffiti, this time on a captured French bus (source of the pic: an expired ebay auction):
"Iwan der Schreckliche" - "Ivan the Terrible".
I´m sorry, but I cannot understand the meaning of this graffiti.

Regards

Bert

Hi glushenko,

thanks a lot for posting this interesting graffiti.
Here the translation:
"Benesch - Beck - beide weg." - "Benesch (president of Czechoslovakia) - Beck foreign minister of Poland) - both gone."
Jetzt muss er gehen," - "No he has to go"
der Chamberlain" - "the Chamberlain" (prime minister of Great Britain).

Best regards

Bert

Hi,

here another graffiti (source: ebay):
"Wüstenschiff vom Westwall" - "Desert ship from the Westwall" (in English more known as the Siegfried-Line)
O.T. = abbreviation vor "Organisation Todt". O.T. was a civil and military engineering organisation in Nazi Germany. The first major projekt was building the Westwall.

Hi,

here a new graffiti, but I´m not sure that it is on a Wehrmacht bus. It is a Bavarian slang:
"Auf der Alm da gibt´s koa Sünd" - "On a mountain pasture there is no sin"

Hi ilfil,

thank You very much for these interesting graffiti.
Here the translation:
First pic: We will drive now the "Tommy" to death by our gun boat.
Second pic: Peace be to his ashes.
The question is: who is the man on the pic?
Could it be a Polish general, maybe general Edward Rydz-Smigly?

Regards
