Hi George,

thank You very much for posting these pics with graffiti. Especially interesting the last before pic:
"John Bull. Das Lachen wird ihm vergehen!" - "John Bull. The laughter will pass him away."
"Jetzt spürt er die K...(?)" - "Now he feels the ...(?)"
Interesting, that the German soldiers used "John Bull", the national personification of the United Kingdom for their political graffiti.

Best regards

Bert

Hi Georg,

thanks again for this graffiti. It is often used in Germany on tombstones:
"Ruhe sanft" - "Rest gently"

Here another graffiti on a captured tank:
"Geborgen von der schweren Panzerabteilung 506" - "Recovered by the heavy Panzerabteilung 506".

Best regards

Bert

Hi,

here another graffiti after the Polish campaign:
"Trotz Staub und Dreck" - "Despite dust and dirt"
"Wir waren Gast bei Oberst Beck" - "we were guests of Colonel Beck"

Hi all,

not a graffiti on a vehicle, but a board with a warning against speeding:

"Das ist die Folge von zu schnellem Fahren" - "This is the result of driving too fast"

Hi all
while searching for pictures of Fahrschulpanzers I found
this photo. Don't know if it qualifies for the topic of this thread.
Anybody knows who's depicted?

Regards
Armin
